Y2K Aviation combines the global experience, service expertise and disciplined practices gained from decades of operating aircraft for Fortune 100 corporations, private individuals and the military.

On this foundation, we developed a specialized focus on large-cabin aircraft management. Our uncompromising focus on our passengers’ safety is supported by a quality operational structure and stringent processes driving maintenance, crew and ground support. The result is we far exceed FAA requirements for safety and operations.

Over the years, we have developed our operational focus on large-cabin, transcontinental aircraft and service. This means that we specialize in operating and maintaining the most sophisticated and advanced aircraft, avionics, and safety systems, ensuring that our management clients benefit from the latest advances in navigation and safety technologies. Moreover, with our years of dedicated service safely transporting clients around the world, our cabin safety practices and discrete service expertise is second to none.

The crews we hire are hand picked for their experience in corporate flight operations and for their outstanding professional judgment. We require each participate in comprehensive indoctrination training and FAA proficiency checks, and thorough scenario-based training with FlightSafety Inter-national, the leading trainer of professional pilots worldwide. Every subsequent year, we require training hours far above FAA requirements and industry norms.

Our commitment to safety is guided by our Part 91 and 135 operational standards, exceeding those mandated by the FAA, to ensure a safe, effective and efficient operation. Our Safety Management System (SMS) is continuously audited, and thoroughly reviewed on a quarterly basis, and our focus on compliance and risk management is stringently adhered to throughout our organization. Our passenger safety program is supported by the integration of our audited system and our personnel team responsible for oversight. Safety is the focus of each and every mission, as well as our entire organization.

Our maintenance philosophy is structured to be preventative rather than reactive giving our managed aircraft the best possible dispatch reliability record. A particular truism in aviation, and one we are proud to adhere to is, a “well maintained aircraft is a safe aircraft.” An FAA-licensed technician with Airframe and Powerplant ratings, properly trained in the appropriate aircraft type, is responsible for maintenance of the aircraft at all times. And, aircraft are maintained under Y2K Aviation’s Continuous Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP).

Y2K Aviation is also committed to helping you maximize the return on your aircraft investment. We wield considerable purchasing power and directly pass these savings on to our management clients. Through our purchasing network, you will receive significant discounts on items such as fuel, insurance, crew training and other services making your aircraft more economical to fly.
